Insulin‐like growth factor‐I (IGF‐I) and testosterone may be related to prostate cancer risk. Acromegaly is associated with clinically high IGF‐I concentrations. Klinefelter's syndrome, testicular hypofunction and hypopituitarism are associated with clinically low testosterone concentrations.
