Ore samples collected from the cobalt mine of Qamsar, Kāshān, were studied using optical microscopy (OM), qualitative X‐ray diffraction analysis (XRD), semi‐quantitative X‐ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF) and quantitative electron micro‐probe with wavelength‐dispersive spectrometry (EMP–WDS).
