Autoimmune neurological diseases are an expanding group of potentially treatable syndromes. A number of these conditions are believed to be mediated by autoantibodies and often respond well to immunotherapies including corticosteroids, plasma exchange, intravenous immunoglobulins, cyclophosphamide and/or rituximab.
