Background and aims: Acquired Neuromyotonia (NMT) is an autoimmune condition frequently associated with anti-contactin-associated-protein-like-2 (Caspr2) antibodies. NMT can occur as a paraneoplastic disorder in patients with thymoma, alone or in combination with Myasthenia Gravis (MG).
