Abstract:

This thesis describes the development and application of condensed-phase cavity-based spectroscopic techniques—namely cavity ring-down spectroscopy (CRDS); cavity enhanced absorption spectroscopy (CEAS); broadband cavity enhanced absorption spectroscopy (BBCEAS) and evanescent wave (EW) variants of all three.
