Alcohol consumption and health in Chinese adults: the China Kadoorie Biobank (CKB)

Abstract:

Background: Alcohol intake has been associated with poor mental health and increased risks of certain cancers and liver diseases. Evidence is limited from China, where disease rates, drinking patterns, and individuals’ tolerability of alcohol differ importantly from Western populations.
